About the Primary Therapist Melanie Kellner MSW, LSW

Melanie is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), currently working toward becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC). Melanie entered the field as an intern in 2010 and has since worked in various levels of care, including residential and outpatient treatment with both adolescents and adults. Melanie utilizes various modalities, including CBT, DBT, and MI. Having seen the impact of addiction first-hand, Melanie has a deep understanding of the disease and practices empathy and compassion to all struggling. Melanie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in substance abuse counseling from Ramapo College. Melanie received her Master of Social Work from Rutgers University and was a participant of the Rutgers Addiction Counseling Training Program.
